Blessed Wound
A performance by Kjærsti Øverbø
Assisted by Charlyne
Thu. 10.45pm / Do. 22:45 Uhr
A performance and suspension artist – digging in the myths and nature of mysterious humanness. A dancer with a twist, showing us the path through raw vulnerability and honest expression, into the momentary truth of our hearts. She sees herself as a metaphor, a place to call home for the soul, heart, mind and spirit. She believe in the body and the motion of life and death and the wisdom of the nature within us all. She grows out of the shadows – and invites us into the light filled roams of love. Only through surrendering to the totality of life and death – can the wholesomeness awake in ourselves. Her art is showing us paths into the emotional life and her desire is to make us all feel, so that we can all heal.
Charlyne is the rigger of the wounds. The seer of the soul, the presence of love. She is moving with me as a rigger and has deep influence in this project and the art of it.
She is stepping into this performance, creating with her transformative power, a place for us all to find home within ourselves. Sculpting and shaping the invisible – to something visible, so we can experience the heart of our wounds. She is entering with her tenderness and felt sense of listening to the depth.
I am so grateful to collaborate with this creature. And honored to be performing this piece of momentary truth with you at bmx.
