How Nanotechnology Will Transform Tattoos

By converging nanotechnology and biomedical engineering on the skin, a new wave of “tattoos” are being developed to transform and enhance human ability. This talk will explain why these smart tattoos are poised to unlock the skin as an interface for technology that improves human health by sensing or protecting against threats, or even regulating biological functions. It will also discuss how nano-engineered tattoo pigments could add new dimensions of creativity and adaptability to body art.
