Patrick McCarthy
Hello my name is Patrick McCarthy, I am a body piercer and body piercing educator who has been professionally piercing for over 35 years and owned one of the busiest studios in the USA for 29 years.
I was the first elected President of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP), where I signed the initial bylaws and established many procedures still in use today.
I am now the CEO and President for Stiletto Piercing Supply, which was established in 2019 to revolutionize the body piercing industry and bringing piercers worldwide presterilized, single-use disposable tools through established distributors.
For over 32 years, I have assisted numerous states in establishing body modification, body piercing, and tattooing laws and regulations.
In 2010, I was involved in drafting rules and regulations for the state of Ohio that included significant changes for the industry and most recently as President of Stiletto, I have been asked by numerous states and countries to assist in updating procedures that allow the adaptation of this growing trend of single-use disposable products.
My experience has allowed me to continually conduct educational classes for practitioners and health inspectors statewide and teach classes for APP at various states and countries on safe piercing practices in our profession.
Body piercing is and always will be very special to me. They are my roots.
My goal is to continue helping others further their education and advance in this profession, utilizing new procedures and products to ensure safety and innovation for their clients and businesses.
