Corey Torok
Corey Torok (they/them) has been piercing professionally since 2021. Since completing their apprenticeship under Nicholas The Geezer in 2023, they have been the Head Piercer at Burning Hearts Tattoo Co. in Hamden, Connecticut.
Their continuing education includes attending APP Conference (2022) and BMXnet (2023), as well as getting their Applied Jewelry Professional Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America.
Being a non-binary person, Corey is proud to provide their queer clients with a safe environment to be authentically themselves.
Coming from a background in child care, helping younger clients get their first piercings is an equally rewarding experience.
Outside of the piercing room, Corey enjoys spending time with their two black cats, Finn and Leo, going on hikes, and playing bass in their skramz band, Amnesiac.
