With a short excursion in the topic “Cellulite”
The skin is our biggest organ. In the following talk the construction of the 4 to 7 kilo, 1-2 m ² or in other words: of approximately 7% part of our body weight will be introduced.
The structure and function of the skin, different skin types and the effects of treatment and care are addressed in the presentation. For the treatment and skin care many products are offered on the market. But what product also keeps what it promises?
On this occasion, the small excursion offers in the subject “Cellulite”. Whether a product meets the needs and desires is not always immediately apparent. But how can we recognise the „true face“ of a label and whether the promises also are right which stand on the (mostly) front in big characters of the label.
In addition the marking must also be able to be read properly, in terms of critically. Since: Paper is patient, etiquettes also and the Internet anyhow. There are several products recommended to use before and after tattooing or piercing. The colors and pigments used for the tattoo are implemented in the presentation.
The market varied and the offer is gigantically. As a major decision criterion for the purchase of a product is given to most of the price. But money is not everything. The talk would like to offer an assistance to draw the attention to other essential choice possibilities. Concretely, this is about quality criteria and legal requirements. Some special laws are demanded in the following.
To complete the presentation and as an important subject the safety assessment for tattooing should be still introduced. This involves inter alia the physico-chemical characterization information as to purity, contaminants (e.g. heavy metals, aromatic amines), stability (with respect to UV radiation) and the evaluation of the results of toxicological studies. The most important contents of a safety assessment are demanded understandably and clearly.
To sum up, the presentation wants to give a lecture on the fundamentals of skin structure, resources for treatment and care of the skin, the reading of the product labels with the appropriate juridical bases as well as the assessment of the safety of the used products.
