An overview of rigging basics as it applies to the art form.
Rigging is one of the most crucial skills of body suspension. Because this art form is specialized, we often draw from many different types of rigging and have even invented some of our own along the way. During this lecture we will be covering many different basic concepts including definitions, common types of gear, an overview of safety, physics, basic math, and some universal protocols. Although the lecture is an overview, the material covered will be useful to suspension practitioners of all levels.
